EAGLES BENEFIT FROM VENUE CHANGE
The fortune falling on the Tyrone football team last Friday night must have seemed like manna from heaven for Coach John Franco and the Golden Eagles.
On the same night the team defeated Bellwood-Antis for the first time in four seasons despite being flagged 15 times, the Eagles also learned that they would not have to make the hour-and-a-half drive West on Interstate 80 to play Brookville this Friday.
Instead, the game was moved the Gray-Veterans Memorial Field after Brookville was unable to have its stadium lights operational in time for this week’s kickoff.
