Things could have been different for the Greater Johnstown Trojans last night had circumstances gone a little different on their first drive.

Had they played mistake free or protected the quarterback better, there’s every reason to believe the Trojans would have scored on their first possession, and that could have made things interesting at Gray-Veterans Memorial Field.

But it didn’t happen that way. Johnstown never cashed in on either of two prime scoring chances in the first quarter, and that gave Tyrone time to ignite a running game that the Trojans had no answer for as the contest progressed.
