FOUR DOWNS: BEA

The Tyrone Golden Eagles evened their record at 2-2 Friday by securing the second overtime victory in program history with a 35-28 win over Bald Eagle Area at Gray-Veterans Memorial Field. It was a back-and-forth game where the Golden Eagles stole momentum by scoring to tie it with 15 seconds left in regulation. After Seth Hoover motored in from the 10 on Tyrone’s first play of the extra frame, the defense forced a fumble when Bald Eagle took over, and Caden Harris scooped it up to seal a key Laurel Highlands East Division victory.

Here are four takeaways from the game.
