Series: The series between Tyrone and Bellwood-Antis, known as the Backyard Brawl, began in 1934, before the consolidation of the Bellwood and Antis Township High Schools. The Orange and Black defeated Bellwood High 12-0 and went on to win their next two games against Bellwood. Following the jointure that created Bellwood-Antis High School, the series resumed in 1939, with Tyrone winning its first seven games against B-A through 1945. The Blue Devils have enjoyed several long winning streaks during the series (6 in a row from 1949-55, 8 in a row from 1988-94), as has Tyrone (8 in a row from 1966-72, 10 in a row from 1934-45). One game in the series has ended in a tie (1959), two have gone into overtime (2017 and 2019), and one was played in the District 6 playoffs when the two rivals matched in the 2A championship game in 2000 (a 24-3 Golden Eagle victory). Tyrone leads the overall series with 54 wins and 30 losses (Bellwood and Bellwood-Antis combined).

Last 10 Games: Tyrone leads 6-4.
