Friday, October 30, 2026

Last Time Out: TYRONE – lost to Philipsburg-Osceola 42-39 at Philipsburg-Osceola Area Stadium. The Eagles fell behind 22-7 in the second quarter and pulled within a single score twice but could never get the go-ahead touchdown, thanks in large part to the Mounties’ effective running game, which produced 257 yards and 4 touchdowns. Ben Walk completed 19 of 26 passes for 254 yards and 3 touchdowns, and Mason Emigh logged his fourth 100-yard receiving game of the season with 6 catches for 103 yards. But while Tyrone totaled 335 yards of offense, it wasn’t enough to offset the play of Demarcus Law, who ran for 167 yards and a touchdown. GREATER JOHNSTOWN – lost to Penn Cambria 36-6 in Cresson in a lopsided contest where the Trojans were limited to 67 yards of offense. Johnstown trailed just 7-6 after the first quarter thanks to a 58-yard interception return for a score by Stephon Hill-Goodman, but rushing touchdowns by Ian Beck and Corbin Vinglish made it 21-6 by halftime and the rout was on. Beck scored twice more in the second half, while VInglish finished the game with 119 rushing yards to go over 1,000 for the season.
