RUN DEFENSE MUST IMPROVE FOR GOLDEN EAGLES
Tyrone coach John Franco has spent most of his life studying the game of football and all of its intricate strategies. Through long hours spent studying film, game planning, analyzing successes and failures, and both traveling to and hosting camps, he has become a master of his craft.
But it doesn’t take a genius to figure out what was wrong with the Golden Eagles’ defense in 2021. When push came to shove and opponents determined to line up and run the football, they went through Tyrone’s defensive line like a hot knife through warm butter.
That’s something that is going to have to change for the Golden Eagles have have any chance at improving on last season’s 5-6 record, and Franco knows it.
