The Tyrone Golden Eagles tasted defeat for the first time Friday, falling 31-7 to Bald Eagle Area at Gray-Veterans Memorial Field.
After a nip-and-tuck first half in which BEA edged ahead 14-7, the Bald Eagles scored 17 unanswered points in the third and fourth quarters to drop Tyrone to 5-1.

FIRT DOWN: Pass protection
This much has been evident about Tyrone’s passing game over the last three weeks. When sophomore Ashton Walk has time to throw, he’s a money player. But starting in Tyrone’s 37-7 win over Bellefonte, teams began bringing pressure on Walk in a big way, and it’s changed Tyrone’s offensive production.
