SERIES: Tyrone and Bald Eagle Area first played in 1970, with the Golden Eagles posting a 52-0 shutout. It was around this time that an upstart league to be known as the Big 8 was taking shape, and soon both BEA and Tyrone were members, setting up yearly meetings for the next half a century.
